Time Warp Update

There have been lots of changes to Time Warp since my last update, the main one being that I finally learned how to add tabs in PyQT, so Pose Master has now been fully integrated into it. This means that all the main animation tools will now live in one place, which keeps things neater and more user friendly.

This has meant a rewrite of the UI, but along side that i’ve also developed a few more tools for you to use, and fixed some bugs along the way.

Some of the new tools are more geared towards game development, but include the ability to quickly -

  • Flip your animation, swapping one side with the other using a search and replace tool. So you can swap “left_” with “right_” for example.

  • Make your animation run on the spot - When animating away from the root, pull the animation back to run in place. Great for walk cycles etc.

  • Rotate your controls around the world root - Helps with turning animations where the start and end pose need to be the same, but orientated differently.

I have also added tooltips to help you too, while I find time to write a manual. These will pop up when you hover over a button.

I will also be starting work soon on an animation overlapper tool, which will quickly add secondary animation to a joint chain.

I am hoping to release this soon, but initially it will be available to those who support me on Ko-Fi, Patreon and YouTube, so look out for details on how you can download these soon.
